AS SEEN ON IG

Another weekend, another Baskmobile event! This time we got to showcase the vintage G Wagon in all its Sunshine Yellow glory at the Miami Concours event in the Design District. Check out the Reel below to see a beautiful recap by Touring Design. Spring is inching ever closer and we pulled together some of our favorite tweets that help remind us to photosynthesize and get that Vitamin D.

FOUNDER FAVES

Britt
  • Posh Balm—This stuff rules. It is hands-down the best gloss, moisturizer, and slight color for the lips. Victoria Beckham remains the poshest.
  • Flour & Weirdoughs cookies are the best in Miami!
  • Easy and affordable facial sculpting tool. Grab a glass of wine and sculpt while watching your favorite TV show.
  • Magic Hour Tea is the most aesthetically pleasing tea I have ever seen! And YES, it’s also super delicious - especially with a little milk and honey. And the buds are grown and harvested in the first biodynamic and organic tea garden in the world.

Mikey

  • One of the greatest gifts you can get for anyone is this bucket of Maldon sea salt
  • Have really been enjoying Paradise on Hulu, and the season finale is next Tuesday, so you’ve got time to binge your way up to date!
  • Not that vintage Defenders are out - they’re beautiful, timeless, and fantastic to drive - but you see a lot of them out there, and our custom 1993 G Wagon (The Baskmobile) by Touring Design has really proven to be a head turner.
  • I found this t-shirt brand a few years ago and have accumulated like 20 of them at this point (as I write this I’m wearing a scallop t and their cardigan). I have some of their non-t shirts, but it’s the t-shirts they do really well: sturdy, very soft and comfortable, and a great fit that tends to flatter regardless of how “in shape” you are at the time. Heavy in my rotation in different colors are the Supima Classic CrewThe Vintage Classic crew, and the Tri-Blend classic crew.

SPRING BREAK READING LIST

  • Another round-up from Baskforce member and resident #BookTok queen Nicole Pearce (IGTikTok). This month she's listing all of her To Be Read list for February.
    • Broiler - by Eli Cranor: I'm starting this tonight. It's a thriller that takes place in a chicken processing plant where one of the undocumented workers is fired and takes revenge on his boss.
    • Beloved - by Toni Morrison: Ok, I'm kind of embarrassed to admit this but I've never read anything by Toni Morrison. I know I'm late to the party but happy to be here with this Pulitzer Prize-winning one.
    • Nightcrawling - by Leila Mottley: A dazzling novel about a young Black woman who walks the streets of Oakland and stumbles headlong into the failure of its justice system.
    • The Running Man - by Stephen King: This is the final stop on my chronological Stephen King journey. A desperate man attempts to win a reality TV game where the only objective is to stay alive.
