AS SEEN ON IG

This month, we shared our Founding Story on our Instagram to showcase the reason for Bask being here. We're also be talking about all things winter sports as ski areas around the world begin to open. Remember, when skiing: you're closer to the sun, the cold and elements reduce your skin barrier strength making it more susceptible to UV damage, and the sun has a second opportunity to hit you as it reflects off ice and snow. Our SPF 50 Fragrance Free Sun Stick is the perfect on-the-go protection that you don't have to take your gloves off to use. Don't forget to follow along @bask_suncare!

THE BASK GIFT GUIDE

Finding the perfect gift for the traveler, beach lover, or winter adventurer in your life just got easier. We pulled our most-loved essentials, things we swear by on every trip, and wrapped them up into one elevated, fuss-free guide.

FOR TRAVELING

  • Cadence Capsules – “The Parcel”
Why we recommend it: The chicest way to organize SPF, skincare, and minis. Leak-proof, magnetic, and makes your carry-on feel like you have your life together.

  • CALPAK Luka Duffel
Why we recommend it: Lightweight, durable, and perfectly structured with tons of pockets. It’s the weekender bag we end up telling everyone to buy, and over 6,000 5-star reviews don't lie.

  • Trtl Travel Pillow
Why we recommend it: No bulky U-shape, no straps — just a sleek internal support system that actually stops your head from bobbing on flights. Compact, elevated, and a major upgrade for frequent flyers.

TROPICAL TRAVEL

  • Cover-Ups
    • Devon Windsor Leiza Maxi Dress — the perfect shade of wavy baby blue
    • LSPACE Las Palmas Dress — great for those who want arm coverage, and it pairs with any swimsuit
Why we recommend them: Elevated silhouettes from Revolve + Shopbop that instantly upgrade any resort outfit. Both look polished, pack beautifully, and work from beach to lunch to golden hour.
  • SPF – Bask Suncare
Why we recommend it: You can save up to 50% on the feel-good sunscreen people actually want to wear until 12/1. Lightweight, hydrating, and perfect for every tropical escape. Yes, we’re biased, but also...correct.

  • Retro Chic Sunglasses (Women + Men)

    • Women: Le Specs Outta Love in Tort/Green

    • Men: Gucci Rectangular Sunglasses in Gold/Grey
Why we recommend them: Stylish but effortless frames from Revolve that elevate any look. One timeless designer option for men, and one trendy-cool pair for women, both perfect for sunny getaways or bright slopes.

SKI / WINTER ADVENTURE

  • Women’s Winter Clothing
    • Halfdays Lawrence Jacket
      Why we recommend it:
Performance + style from a women-founded brand. Warm, technical, and extremely cute both on and off the lift.

    • Halfdays Johnson Base Layer
Why we recommend it: Lightweight, seamless, and flattering, an elevated base layer that feels as premium as it looks.

  • Bask SPF 50 Sun Stick
Why we recommend it: High-altitude UV and wind require real protection. This glove-friendly stick is the easiest on-mountain essential.

FOUNDER FAVES

Britt
  • This Magic Molecule Spray was recommended to me personally by Ivey at Coconut Grove's Living with Ivey. It's fantastic and has worked wonders for our 4 year old's eczema. I also purchased Ivey's Glow Body Oil as my tummy grows in trimester two.
  • Lightweight, soft, breathable, timeless, I really love the Gisele PJ Set from Eberjey (they are also a Miami-based company!).
  • I don't know if this is actually still available to be purchased (but I found a few listings on Amazon and Etsy). I am in love with this whimsical idea of bread-loaf wrapping paper for gifts
  • Coming soon to Brickell, they're calling it 'The Erewhon of Miami': Nude Miami
Mikey
  • This Levain dupe cookie recipe from a former Levain baker is easy to make, ridiculously delicious, and will make you the star of Thanksgiving if you make it. Pairs well with this completely unnecessary (but awesome) ice cream sandwich ice cream scooper.
  • Even though I almost exclusively wear Bask merch these days, I occasionally branch out, and really like the design, feel, and fit of this Rapanui Sea T-shirt.
  • The Creative Act by Rick Rubin has been on my nightstand. It’s a surprisingly grounding book and a good reminder to slow down and make space for ideas.
  • Some options for linen pants: Orlebar Brown for a higher-end choice - days when you’re heading into a dinner meeting or elevated resort event; Reiss as balanced mid-priced pick you’ll wear often for travel, city evenings, beach-resort crossover; and, finally, H&M for a budget friendly option on sun-soaked days: the Miami heat, casual brunch, a weekend away while still keeping the notion of style intact. I'm opting for a straight or slightly tapered leg (rather than ultra-skinny); neutral tones (sand, oatmeal, light grey) for versatility in warm weather and pairing with anything from neutral to "fun" shirts with prints.
