Our Mineral Spray is formulated meticulously to make the application seamless and enjoyable. Mineral sunscreens - especially body products - are notorious for thick, smelly, chalky applications with a white cast. As a result, people tend to apply less and/or rub the product in too much. The key to effective SPF application is a smooth even layer of sunscreen. When you need to rub the product in too much to blend it into your skin, you reduce the efficacy of the SPF. Due to our mineral spray's elegant application it is not only more pleasant to wear, but it is also more effective.

Glycerin is a naturally occurring humectant, meaning it attracts and retains moisture from the air, acting as a powerful hydrating ingredient to soften and replenish dry skin by pulling water into the skin's outer layer, keeping it supple and moisturized. As a result of its inclusion (as well as many other inactive ingredients) the Bask Mineral Spray is more than a sunscreen, and also a bodycare product that will restore, hydrate, and improve your skin.

Broad spectrum means that a sunscreen protects you against both UVA and UVB rays. The way to remember the difference between the two is easy: A for aging, and B for burning. UVA rays penetrate deeper and are most responsible for wrinkling anad aging; UVB rays cause sunburns. Both UVA and UVB rays can lead to skin cancer. It is very important to make sure to use a broad spectrum sunscreen that offers coverage against both.

A quick caveat that everyone's skin and expectations are different. We also believe it's disingenuous when sunscreen brands say their mineral products leave no white cast. Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide - the active ingredients used in mineral sunscreens - inherently leave white casts. What we can promise you is that this is the closest thing to a mineral sunscreen that won't leave a white cast after blending it in. We have tested it on deep skin tones and the results are best in class. As with all of our products, if it doesn't meet your needs, we will offer you a full refund, no questions asked.
